BARCODE 酒吧基地位于B1，一樓入口正處于建筑的轉角處，設計師以建筑物本有的玻璃磚外墻作為基底，在貫穿四個樓層的立面包覆著金屬編織的工業用輸送網。特意將招牌置入建筑物的轉角處，從90度的轉折變化中，突顯店名BARCODE的字匯內涵具備可拆解或銜接的雙關解讀。 自然.條碼.飄浮的地景 設計構想以條碼(barcode)作為起點，設計師希望將此一日常符號，透過更自然、前衛的意象重新注釋。將平面地景脈絡轉化為4D模型，并讓這片舞動的立體地景移植至天花板，作為全室的視覺焦點。 設計師希望，這片飄舞的立體天花板能游走在地景與條碼的概念之間，反映店名具備雙重意義的特質。依循4D模型訂制的木作經過排序拼接，編織地景飛舞于空中的奇幻景象，若從細部觀察又透露出由龐大條碼符號所織構的脈絡，傳遞將條碼視為創作材料與空間語匯的設計概念。 本案在平面規劃上也運用條碼概念作平行切割，劃設VIP包廂區、廳區、吧臺區，三區各自擁有不同的地勢高度，借此在通透的空間內經營鮮明的區域范疇及景深層次。 英式酒吧 BARCODE雖然以英式酒吧作定位，卻希望跳脫傳統英式酒吧深色木皮、古典吧臺椅、墨綠色皮革等暗陳濃重的刻板形象，它企圖加入更時尚、活力的個體魅力。 銜接入口與廳區的過道，運用方弧線條圍塑成一座獨立的過渡空間，天花板、立面、地坪均使用集層材拼貼，藉由量體造型與材質拼接產生豐富的紋理效果，將過道冗長的先天限制轉化為通往神秘殿堂的接駁隧道。 全室色彩計劃著重于溫暖、清爽。以低調奢華為主題的VIP室，天花板、立面均由白色駝鳥皮革包覆，地坪鋪設白色石材，潔凈的設色與廳區溫暖華麗的氣息形成鮮明對比。吧臺區選配金色藝術線板鋪陳吧臺座身與天花板，線板依循著條碼間隔排序的概念作組合。廳區運用不銹鋼打造有機造型包覆結構柱，光滑的樹干高聳地伸展入天花板的飄浮地景中，對應出前衛與自然并蓄、傳統和現代元素傳承的況味。 采訪」劉蕙蘋 BARCODE BARCODE is an English style pub bar with an intriguing landscape layout. The bar is located on the B1 level; its entrance is situated in a corner position where a dominating fa?ade signifies its unique spatial interest. Its lower position reveals an existing glass brick band while metal wires weave a rising sheet which extends from the first to fourth level. A blooming red color glares out from the wire to form a mystical membrane surface similar to camouflage on a bunker. The signboard is of particular interest. “BARCODE” is an illuminated object that enlightens the street corner and forms an image like an encrypted enigma. While this signboard is in a fixed position it presents an intimate signification and pulls people closer. ?? Nature, barcode, and floating land art Designer Kan used the barcode image as a diagram of the design. He constructed a 3-D image using this black-and-white icon and added an imaginative factor to transfigure this form into a more dynamic structure. This undulating surface is like a piece of environmental art extending far into the ground which and has been grafted onto the interior of the Barcode Pub. Oscillating rhythms of its unpredictable surface move from the partition to the top of ceiling. This never ending power of the extension is one of the most distinctive spatial features of the Pub. Ever illusive rhythms of the ceiling present an unforgettable impression. The manifold bands unmistakably signify the name of the pub – Barcode. Its solid and voided bands seem to present a meditative wonder of the manifold changes of life. Like barcode images sometimes they are white and sometimes they are black, white, wide or narrow bands. The ceiling 'barcode” only plays a role as a passion triggering element. Its voided interior hides utility systems and its surface gaps provide necessary vents for air movement. This “barcode” sculptural ceiling extends further into a more private VIP room. It wraps completely over the wall partitions and turns this secluded space into a grotto like space where geographical formations illuminate a fantasy of an unimagined world. The spatial layout even follows the concept of the “barcode” plan as it divides into 3 zones – VIP, lounge, and bar section. Each is situated on a platform at various heights. This layout provides a spatial depth while it connects a visual link in an unbroken sequence. The VIP room is located in the highest position. A path leading to the VIP space creates an incline space that provides a comfortable sitting zone. The bar area is placed in a medium zone which is illuminated by red colored lights from the ground and mysteriously eliminates any specific spatial boundary. In contrast to the spatial obscurity of the bar area, the lounge hall is situated in a central position. It stands in the lowest position connecting the activities in the surrounding spaces. English Pub BARCODE is a genius English pub bar without any stereotypical impressions of leather baronial style chairs and other classical interior fixtures. It is more active and dynamic. Upon entering into the hall, one finds a squared section tunnel leading towards the main hall. The entire interior is built in compressed wood. Its materiality emphasizes the path's load-bearing compression and weaves an intriguing ambience as it performs a ritual procession. The main space is coated with a glare of warm colored light and the interior embellishments. The VIP room is built in a luxurious motif with white color ostrich skin upholstery. The floor is paved with white marble. This private quarter displays a spatial ambience directly contrasting with that of the main hall. The bar area displays a somewhat Art-Nouveau fashion with gold color bands coating the surface of both the ceiling and bar. The bar also reveals the iconic significance of a barcode image; vertical strips are seemingly pop out of each table. The main hall has some organic elements like trees. Their “trunks” are clad in stainless metals. The reflections on their surfaces and the illusive 'barcode bands” ceiling yields a chimerical reading of a reversed illusion that grounds the geographical profile floating in the sky . Other reflective materials appear casually in many corners and this adds a further delusional impression that confuses human perception.
