「松江會館」主要供作廣達公司上海部門高階主管的招待會館及宿舍或差旅住宿之用。除了旅館住宿之外,招待會館所需承載的機能,包括游泳池、桑拿房、電影院、KTV、餐廳、商店、咖啡廳等多功能娛樂設施的使用空間。
當初,建筑物在旅館用途的前提下,被設計成由一較矮的長方形量體,結合一較高的圓形柱體而成。長方形建筑量體上方,并有4個大小不等的圓形開口,作為采光之用。設計師胡碩峰表示,指出設計主軸便是延續建筑量體的特性,藉由串聯這些虛空間與開放空間,解決上述諸多使用機能。
架構
若從整體城市規劃的角度來看,城市發展軌跡中所留下的都市節點,如花園、廣場等,往往與都市發展結構的連系性緊密呼應,同時,也是凝聚周圍建筑群的焦點所在,一如巴黎或者其他歷史文化悠久的城鎮。
針對此規劃案必須承載的機能復雜性,將其類比為一座縮小的城市,運用擅長的都市規劃思考來建構此案的空間框架以及整體平面配置的依據。透過都市規劃的角度,在建筑內部置入適當軸線與既有建筑的紋理(如開出的采光罩)產生呼應,當人們沿著在規劃的軸線上前進,通過分散于建筑量體內的這些節點,得以進入不同性質的空間。不僅解釋了這個猶如微型城市的空間架構,同時也巧妙界定出公領域與私領域之間的微妙關系。
節點
從入口開始,藉由主軸線的引導開始鋪陳整個建筑內的敘述架構,主軸線的通道立面以垂直線的切割掌握著行進間的節奏律動,將兩個巨型的建筑量體連結起來。利用原本?有的采光罩位置作出不同的轉換空間,賦予節點的意義,凝聚出周圍空間。
當人們自入口沿著律動的軸線向前,將來到第一個節點,這是餐飲空間的轉換地,并可吸納、轉換眾多的用餐人口,同時也暗示著交誼聚會的場所所在性。到了第二個節點,則進入旅館的接待區,統轄整間宿舍的進出,以一個更具隱私、靜謐的場域,連結戶外中庭的自然造景,作為室內與環境的對話。由這個節點向右延伸出另一垂直軸線,串聯另外兩個小節點,分別引導通往電影院、KTV的娛樂空間,以及桑拿、健身房、游泳池等運動空間。
城市規劃經由每一節點所創造的內聚性包被空間,進而在微型城市的架構中,再現如都市紋理、生活空間、建筑、街道等空間經驗的豐富性,讓人們即使在室內,也能透過不同的轉換空間(節點),重新經驗空間的驚奇與發現,借此再現人們對場所精神的價值與認同。

QSMC Hotel & Club
“Sun-Zien Guest House” is a guest house for QSMC’s high-ranking officers who are temporarily lodged here or for entertaining company guests. It is built not only as a lodging facility but also as a complex of relaxation which includes facilities such as swimming pool, sauna rooms, theater, KTV, restaurant, shopping and coffee shops.
Layout:
The whole building complex can be seen as an analog of the living city in miniature that has similar streets, plazas and gardens. The development of a city always leaves historical traces that hold the collective memory of those who dwell within. As a same layout, the whole structure is formed and built; it has some streets then the building fabric is inserted around them. As one walks along the ‘street’ one will eventually confront a plaza this is a pivot point which makes clear the orientation. From it one is about to enter another zone from the previous one. This precise street pattern marks a clear distinction of the spatial domain defined by the spatial hierarchical order.
Nexus
From the entrance, one is directly guided by a “main street”, framed by spaces divided according to a harmonious fa?ade rhythm. This axis links two main spatial domains. Skylights appear in nexus point where the two ‘streets” meet and give a hint of spatial transformation. The perimeter of the nexus ( plaza) clearly fosters an enclosure defining a place for gathering.
The first nexus is a food court; with its spaciousness, one will comfortably enjoy food without the usual congestion and noise. This is also a location for gathering and occasions such the company’s internal party. The second nexus following the main street end in a plaza, which serves as the guest house reception. This more secluded and tranquil space acts as a control point for guests but also as a transition to a courtyard where one can linger and quietly contemplate a garden. An annexed path forking off from the reception leads quests to other minor courts. One stretches to the movie theater and KTV while the other is linked to the swimming pool, gym and sauna rooms.
The guest house is a miniature city where the city experience is recreated as if one still lives in a city fully loaded with facilities to satisfy everyone’s needs. Street, plaza, zone, and boundary, derived from the “city images” posited by Kevin Lynch in 1960’s interpolate themselves into the plan that is eventually realized in this unique facility.
